About this Liberty print - Ohara
Ohara is inspired by Ohara Koson, a renowned Japanese woodblock artist who created traditional nature-inspired prints in the early 20th century. Its style mimics the woodblock prints of that era, with a simple composition and ombre background. The rainbow parrot tulip is painted in gouache, rendered in delicate washes and fine lines.
